Daily Duties at Agoura Tile:
Professional experience in installation for commercial and residential buildings interior and exterior, (Swimming pools, Bar-B-Ques, Pavers, Store fronts, Entry ways, Floors, Counter tops, Showers, Tub surrounds, Fire places etc. Manage and work with subcontractors and staff, also interact with architects, inspectors and owners. Study blueprints and examine surface to be covered to determine amount of material needed, Oversee and maintain jobs, setting tile located on floors, showers, decks, flagstone, installation of granite, marble and solid quartz countertops. Assist customers in selection of tile and grout, granite or stone, responsible for Determining and implementing the best layout to achieve a desired pattern. Ordering tile and other items to be installed, such as bathroom accessories, walls, panels, and cabinets, according to specifications. Job includes Installing and anchoring fixtures in designated positions, Align and straighten tile using levels, squares and straightedges, experienced in setting mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural and floor designs, assist in preparing cost and labor estimates based on calculations of time and materials needed for project. Responsible for repairing and/or replacing any damaged tile.
