Daily Duties at Language Line Services, Inc.:

Completion of timely, accurate, and comprehensive monthly financial close processes and consolidated financial reporting. Reconciliation of foreign subsidiary reporting including inter-company account reconciliations. Manage the month-end close process including review of GL entries, payroll, accounts payable, monthly account reconciliations, and analysis of budget-to-actual fluctuations to ensure the reasonableness of financial results. Ensure financial integrity through strong controls Be responsible for the development and implementation of financials controls. Work directly with external auditors to ensure the timely and efficient completion of audits. Assist with system implementation as needed. Support SOX compliance, documentation, and testing Perform additional responsibilities, duties, and projects as assigned. Contributor for streamlining the month-end close and reporting cycle. Performing account analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements and intercompany General Ledger. Review General Ledger accounts and correcting Journal Entries. Preparing Monthly Commission Statements for Salesman Department. Preparing Monthly closing Journal entries. Conduct initial internal control evaluations. Ascertaining whether company assets are properly accounted for and safeguard from loss. Posting monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals. Researching and correcting account discrepancies. Maintaining the General Ledger Chart of Accounts. Providing written summaries of statistical sampling findings for review by Senior Staff.
