Daily Duties at First:

• Serve as a first-level supervisor directly supervising subordinate Information Technology staff. • Interact with FIRST staff members to: o Understand questions about system usage. o ensure those issues are understood and resolved by appropriate IT staff . o proactively ensure departments and programs understand how to use IT systems. • Establish and maintain records and files. • Develop and supervise the execution of project schedules for system upgrades and using FIRST approved standards. • Develop and supervise execution of test plans for system upgrades and implementation of new systems. • Facilitate the development of IT work estimates. • Train staff in applicable rules and regulations and usage of the electronic mail and calendaring systems. • Documented complete IT requests assignment flow chart • Set up and configured UPS shutdown and utilization policy • Created failover and disaster recovery plan • Mentored and established training goals for staff • Acted as IT Project Manager and created project plans utilizing MS Project
