Duties included documentation for purchasing/payment in accordance with VDOT policies and procedures; tracked leave usage and communicated discrepancies with management; drafted and tracked the annual budget; implemented office procedures and protocols; maintained the department library as well as all office files; reconciled credit card statements; reviewed and processed invoices and all other reimbursable expenditures for payment; ensured expenditure reports for Federally-funded studies were submitted on time by project managers; researched documents and data bases for information as requested by staff; scheduled and maintained accurate and timely calendar of all meetings, times and locations as requested by individual section members and their own meetings; ensured all incoming information either by mail, email, or customer inquiries was logged, tracked and distributed to appropriate staff and completed other projects as assigned.
