Daily Duties at Electronic Medical Resources:
. Oversaw the implementation of Practice Management and Electronic Health Record to 30 separate clinics. Manage the Division of IT which consists of 10 permanent employees, 3 of which are direct reports. Provide technology vision and leadership in the development of EMR applications and policies. Oversee the implementation of the EMR cooperate wide information technology (IT) program. Lead the health care network & independent practice association in planning and implementing enterprise information systems to support both distributed and centralized clinical and business operations and achieve more effective cost benefits from the cooperate enterprise down to the individual physicians practice. Responsible for the development and management of IT budget, including development of proposals, solution alternatives, cost-benefit analyses, ROI projections, expense control, etc. Ensure that annual goals and objectives are met, as well as any other business strategies and priorities established as part of the annual planning process of the cooperation. Responsible for defining cooperate IT Policy and ensures compliance of the IT systems with the Company's policy and regulatory requirements including HIPAA and other regulatory compliance policies.
