Daily Duties at John Brooks Supermarts:
? Maintinan pricing on certain items through IMS software and scripted files. ? Provide support to pricing coordinators over the phone and in person. ? Diagnose hardware/software problems and repair. ? Implement new hardware and software. ? Run and make CAT5 cable and ensure network operation. ? Apply pricing updates, print and hang tags or signs as a pricing coordinator. ? Troubleshoot POS systems and confer with companies on problems. ? Maintain VPN IP addressing and in-store networks via Cisco PIX and Cisco801 Routers. ? Setup new networks and devices such as DSL modems, routers, switches and firewalls. ? Maintain backups of in-store sensitive data on a network computer. ? Ensure all operations on in-store computers ran correctly and are not having troubles. ? Submit item movement data to certain companies for rebates.
