Daily Duties at Fcc:
Public Affairs Specialist—New York Field Office Established and maintained liaison with the public, telecommunications industry and media. Disseminated information and provided education and assistance concerning all FCC issues. Conducted personal appearances, speeches, interviews, meetings, and workshops. Developed all written correspondence, i.e. press releases, news articles, brochures, newsletters, marketing publications, fact sheets, quarterly reports, etc., which conveyed information about the extensive range of subjects related to the FCC's programs. Reviewed and investigated constituent complaints concerning all telecommunication services and responded to critical community problems by arranging collateral enforcement efforts with technical staff. Conducted public service outreach programs aimed at educating and advising citizens about FCC programs, regulations and policies.
