Daily Duties at Continental Hospital:

Launched new education department and kept employee compliance rates at 100% for nearly three years. Created new orientation program with extremely positive participant evaluations. Initiated and delivered quarterly off-site training program for all executive officers, directors, managers and supervisors. Adapted training received from Ken Blanchard’s Master’s program to meet department and company-wide learning and development needs. Responsible for all employee compliance training, new-hire orientation, annual refresher program, on-boarding, recruitment, retention, and engagement initiatives, employee recognition, leadership training, customer service training, volunteer program, and community outreach. Lead various teams including: Training Team, Recruitment/Retention team (Employee turnover rates dropped from the 30% range to the teens) and Fitness Team. Responsible for annual Skills Faire, annual Employee Appreciation events, and ongoing in-service trainings to ensure compliance with accreditation, regulations and policies. Served on leadership team to develop long-range strategic planning and applicable metrics.
