Daily Duties at Ge Aircraft Engines Controls:
What they like about Ge Aircraft Engines Controls:
Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.

Climbers' Joblogs at Ge Aircraft Engines Controls:
my BIO
It all started with a creative imagination:I am told that that it was easy to keep me busy as a child. I used to spend many hours keeping myself entertained with a cassette recorder and a radio. I loved listening to music, recording it and experimenting with editing. There were no personal computers in those days to make editing easy. I used scissors, tape, a screwdriver and worn out batteries to make my unique audio productions. Taking apart cassette tapes and putting them back together was an everyday exercise for me. An interest in changing how things work and creating something out of what you have around the house continued through high school as I became interested in cars and motorcycles. Upgrading and repairing automobiles and motorcycles came easy to me and I was fascinated in making things work better.
So deciding to get into electronics and engineering was no big surprise. I took machine shop classes in high school to learn how to make unique things out of cold rolled steel, and later I majored in electronics engineering technology at DeVry Institute of Technology (now known as DeVry University) in Columbus Ohio to focus on the latest in technology… electronics.
Since that time, I now have 19 years of engineering work experience, in a field that has enabled me to combine my machinist skills and electronics engineering: Diesel Engine & Aircraft Jet Engine Electronic Controls Development.
