Daily Duties at United States Navy:

Drafted, proofread, processed and routed incoming correspondence, awards, Evaluations, FITNESS Reports and material in a timely manner including researching and compiling data to draft monthly/bi-weekly reports and Congressional inquiries. Greet visitors, maintain visitor records, make/take transfer call using correct telephone techniques, take accurate messages, make/cancel appointments, coordinate and schedule meetings, projects and conferences, take meeting minutes, maintain maintenance of office equipment, maintain office supply inventory and other office supplies using purchase orders, use reference and instruction manuals, prepare file folders and labels, prepare cross-reference for filing documents, use tickler follow up file. Made travel arrangements for 275 personnel, which also included preparing travel vouchers, tracked expenditures and processed NO FEE application requests for VISA Passports. Drafted, reviewed and processed outgoing messages. Responsible for providing legal support to a command of over 600 personnel. Processed over 500 powers of attorney and prepared 50 case packages for Captain’s Mast. Educational Services Officer –Ensured all enlisted personnel advancement requirements were completed prior to taking advancement exams. Coordinated with area PSD ESO in ordering over 300 advancement exams for enlisted personnel.
