Daily Duties at Rapid Design Service, Inc.:
At General Motors / Delphi Energy and Engine Management Systems Industrial Engineer Planner, Construction Manager -Transition various Divisions and plant(s) Two, Five thru Seven equipment and infrastructure. Introduced to Planner responsibility via Industrial Engineering and Capital Assets group; quickly acclimated to the new environment via construction based focus via integration of the Industrial Engineering components of space, machines, manpower, materials, and, productivity. $400,000 Lean re-install of Injection Molding equipment delivered early on budget Cradle-to-Grave planning responsibilities. Developed a no capital cost approach to install three Injection Molding machines. Sold the concept to Construction, Plant, and, Site managers project required estimating, Gantt charts (via MSProject) coordinate and facilitate formal weekly project update meetings, installation, maintenance, Bill-of-Materials, also required around the clock availability to assist / mentor with skilled-trades / contractor, costing and scheduling. Develop and install a Lean Cell Air Filtration model and over-the-road carts for tuggers. Demolition / equipment removal I assisted in the Loss Prevention focus with Safety department.
