Daily Duties at Pinnacle Health Harrisburg Hospital:
Working as a staff nurse in the Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Examples of patient population consisting of, but not limited to, renal transplant, toxicology/overdose, respiratory failure, shock/sepsis, and complex surgical patients. Gained additional experience with ventilator management, critical drug therapy, and other therapeutic modalities. Did not receive official critical care course or training at this place of employment, as initially expected; was given ECCO course.
