Daily Duties at Kwajalein Range Services :

Performed conditioning, acceptance and quality control testing of all links, trunks and circuits. Performed patching, testing, troubleshooting, and restoration of all circuits interfacing the Kwajalein Technical Control Facility. Verified the quality of communications circuits, channels and equipment by use of test equipment. Performed actions to activate, deactivate or change circuits as required pursuant to DISA directives. Performed preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned communications circuits, equipment and systems, in accordance with applicable system technical orders and other appropriate technical documentation. Used test equipment to detect and isolate equipment faults/circuit degradation and in performing restoral actions. Used schematic diagrams, manufacturer’s service manuals and other documentation in determining equipment fault/circuit degradation and in performing repair and restoral actions.
