Daily Duties at Independence Blue Cross:

Responsible for all incoming calls providing exceptional and external customer service Trouble shooting member eligibility issues such as member care, newly enrollees, effectively manage challenging and sensitive calls related to benefits and reimbursement issues Maintain accuracy of all data entry and process into a excel data base Perform departmental authorization for all managed care lines of business which include baby delivery procedures Process Medical Equipment orders and services per department guidelines Perform outreach calls to complete H.R.A at 24 week gestation, as well as Mother Option follow-up calls Quarterly update and maintain in house files and prepare for offsite storage of files for Maternity Patient Questionnaires and Case Management files Maintain all internal communications in Baby Blue Prints Department
