Daily Duties at The Community Of Jesus:
Switchboard /Telephone Operator One of a team of 7-10 people, working shifts operating a 24-line switchboard acting as receptionist, fielding inquiries and providing customer service for approximately 600-1000 calls per day. Events Coordinator Responsible for the organization of events: weekend retreats, banquet dinners, conference lunches and receptions that ranged in attendance from 50-200 people. Scheduled staff and found solutions to problems that arose within the working environment. Annual licensing of the commercial kitchen from the town Board of Health Department and acquired all temporary food permits when needed for specific events. Comptroller Worked with a team projecting yearly budget(s) for both food and cleaning/paper supplies. Ordered food and cleaning/paper supplies on a weekly basis for two separate accounts: staff (75 people) and events (averaged anywhere from 10 – 200+ people). Tracking of expenditures in both accounts on a weekly basis. Renewed yearly memberships. Guest House Coordinator Maintained a five bedroom guest house, greeted and cared for guests; scheduled meal times etc. during their stay. Organized staff: cooks, housekeepers and on-duty personnel.
