Daily Duties at The Star:

As a reporter, I went to meetings, events and other activities where I interviewed people and gathered information. Then I wrote stories for daily publication with topics ranging from crime, politics, education, business to people features. I took photographs, typed obituaries, answered phones and took messages as well as answered questions from the public about stories and events. I proofread and edited stories.
