Daily Duties at Sentinel Offender Services:

Manage a caseload of 250-300 defendants; Compile reports; Ensure that the defendant remains in compliance with his/her sentence of probation; Evaluate and document the defendants progress on a follow-up basis through office visits; Take any remedial action necessary through the court; Attend court on a daily basis; Prepare files and the necessary documents needed for court; Testify before the judge; Answer questions concerning the defendants case and status; Make recommendations concerning conditional release or confinement of the defendant; Review documents pertaining to the defendants legal history; Demonstrate knowledge of probation law and procedure; Remain acquainted with local court staff and their duties and responsibilities
