BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST JUN 2007 TO CURRENT § Lead interviews and discussions to clarify and understand operational requirements § Design and documenting processes and workflows § Translate requirements into functional specifications § Brief and work with software development teams § Develop testing plans and scripts § Drive the testing process and manage defects/issues to resolution § Provide support to the IT operations teams in implementing solutions into the production environment § Resolution of issues discovered in the operational environment RETAIL LIFE & RETIREMENT - QUERY RESOLUTION FEB 2006 TO MAY 2007 § Due to various factors, a query team has been created to effectively combat errors arising from system failures or human errors. § A full investigation is done per query, as to where the error originates from and why it occurred. § Clients / Brokers have to be contacted, to discuss correction strategies. § Costs to backdate calculations are produced for financial errors. § Reconciliation of statements, where incorrect transactions have taken place. Often dating months back. § Calculating correct Living annuities, in terms of anniversary dates, directives, gross and tax amounts. § Query will be looked at and dealt with from every angle, ensuring no future errors. § End to end processing of correctional transactions on investment system (Flexcube). § Creating apology letters and updated statements, often doing a full analysis of statements, to provide full and thorough feedback to clients. CLIENT SERVICES CONSULTANT APR 2005 TO JAN 2006 § Receive calls via the toll share-line and see walk-in clients with regards to new business, ad hoc deposits, switches, redemptions, deceased estates, transfers and queries for the following investments: Domestic Unit Trusts; Offshore Mutual Funds; Individual Retirement Products; Endowment Products § Process month end statements § Supply marketing material via various Media forms to all interested parties § Respond to emails received via Allan Gray Website § Database updates and information maintenance
