Daily Duties at Legal Aid Bureau, Inc. :
Providing the basic office support to staff that includes, filing, scanning documents, retrieval of files for cases, mail processing, faxing, dictation and time keeping for staff attorneys, answering phones, forwarding messages and typing. Aided in processing and submission of travel reimbursement funds for attorneys; as well as budgeting and ordering of office supplies. Greeted individuals coming into the office. Assisted staff with problems, they encounter when dealing with software and hardware on their office PC’s. Handled the in processing of new persons needing legal assistance. Helping callers find the best possible resource for an existing legal problem. Filing documents with the courts, creating subpoenas, court orders, and interrogatories for office staff.
