Daily Duties at Hasbro Toy Company:
•Recruited within first year from temporary to full time position to support Package Designers, Instruction Designers and Senior Staff within the Creative Services Department. •Managed web-based (new) Vendor Intake System. Daily contact with over 100 vendors. •Created purchase orders and processed invoices for over 100 vendor files daily. •Reviewed invoices and compared with original quotes with senior manager. Consistently alerted the proper persons of any discrepancies. •Reviewed invoices with original quotes monthly with senior manager. Reduced outside spending by over $70K within first year. •Reported and tracked via excel (on a quarterly basis) to Management any issues that occurred. Identified recommendations for resolutions that were accepted over 90%. •Work with appropriate persons in Accounts Payable. •Planning and implementation of the yearly Freelancer Fair. •Selected as key member of the Outside Spend Cost Reduction Team. Met on a monthly basis and recommended strategies to reduce outside vendor spend
