Daily Duties at Montecito Property Company:

Represent Montecito in the building and maintenance of professional relationships with third-party companies, including preferred lenders and Title Companies. Orchestrate and manage the closing process on over 2,000 residential properties to ensure the achievement of project closing goals, including an average contract to close time of less than 30-45 days. Train and manage 15 field closers in addition to 10-plus 3rd party title and escrow officers. Maintain Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac compliancy throughout the entire closing process. Develop Preferred Lending Program to enable a smoother transaction process and more competitive price structure. Identify and establish Title Company and attorney representation for each property at closing. Identify, monitor and analyze daily key business performance metrics reports in order to optimize key business processes and resources. Manage seller’s adherence to the loan approval and transaction closing process. Track individual contact compliance and, when required, contacted customers to encourage timely contract compliance and cooperation. Provide routine performance to goal key business metric reports to Partners and Senior Management. Address and resolve corporate Human Resources-related issues for the Closing and Lending resources. Optimize business processes by maintaining an open line of communication with key Lending and Closing field, corporate and third party resources. Edit and approve all Closing Statements (HUD1).
