Daily Duties at Burger King Franchise:

Charged with & fully accountable for all restaurant operations of up to 5 units, including but not limited to: · Executive assistant to the franchisee, reporting all aspects of the business, scheduling and/or attending meetings with corporate personnel, requesting bids and developing vendor/contractor relationships. · Developed and maintained relationships with Burger King Corporation, & promotion of restaurant/community relations · Transition of operations from corporate to franchise in 2 locations, open new locations · New POS installation, programming and manager/employee training · Ensure thorough & effective execution of special events requiring special visual efforts (merchandising at point of purchase), and local store marketing strategies, including television coverage of events · All Human Resources Responsibilities including payroll processing, correspondence with government agencies, insurance enrollment and maintenance, and including risk management responsibility and court appearances General manager: · Train & coach staff on company standards as well as principles & techniques used to enhance company image via customer perception · Recruiting and staff development/retention-foster personal development for advancement opportunities · Implementing new product roll outs/ordering & maintaining levels of operations excellence · Consistent implementation of quality and sanitation standards at above average levels · Full P&L accountability – Minimizing controllables of cash o/s, inventory, labor, repair & maintenance of equipment and buildings, and surrounding property · Managed and coordinated the processing of purchase orders ensuring timely, accurate and efficient receipt of product. Maintained accurate database inventory and ensured control of inventory quantities and costs. Burger King Corp. Research & Development/Training Restaurants: Miami, FL · Charged with the quick successful implementation of test products, new equipment and procedures · Responsible for training corporate fast trackers and franchisees daily restaurant operations at the restaurant level · Assisted with conducting career fairs; set up and recruiting
