Managed the planogram/product merchandising process, working in conjunction with Vice President of Merchandising, directors, category managers and marketing team Oversaw process of creating and updating planograms and other merchandising direction consistent with category goals and company vision, using both internal (Microstrategy) and external (Neilson) sales data Maintain accurate database information and merchandising directions with regard to new item placement and store segmentation library Created and maintained promotional and/or clearance events related to all in-store activities Monitor the consistency of merchandise presentation in all stores and work closely with operations department to ensure compliance with all merchandising direction Identified Profit Loss: Researched, analyzed and implemented a new markdown process to save margin dollars being lost on unnecessary markdowns Elevated Standards of Quality: Established a systematic process and timeline for category managers in order to effectively meet deadlines and ensure accuracy in department merchandising
