Daily Duties at Spors Medicine Associates:
Was enrolled full-time working as an extern for the SMASA clinic to complete all of my required hours for my LMRT program from the Academy of Health Care Profession’s. I began my externship in September 2007, and completed my hours on March 28, 2008. My duties included caring for x-ray patients by properly positioning them, and obtaining accurate diagnostic exposures for the team of doctors. I also assisted the medical assistants with duties such as checking vitals, scheduling all x-ray procedures such as MRI, CT, and Dexa, bringing back patients, wiping down rooms and helping with ACL brace fittings. It provided me with some very beneficial experience and I can provide excellent references.
