Daily Duties at Urs Corporation:
• Work with Regional office invoicing for 250+ projects on a monthly basis with weekly updates to billing log. • Work closely with project administrators for accounting discrepancies with project invoicing formats to rate table information. • Run detailed query sheets and verify accuracy of back ups for monthly invoices. • Analyze reports for project discrepancies according to commercial and government guidelines and reconciliation. • Interpret various client contracts for invoicing standards for project set up procedures, rates, invoicing detail requirements and payment procedures. • Maintain accounting records for commercial, government and Canada projects. • Assist new project accounting specialists with training on JD Edwards (and AS-400) software, including Microsoft applications and Access. • Conduct project closings on a monthly basis as determined by project managers. • Variety working knowledge of the Enterprise One system, as well as the People Soft software.
