Daily Duties at The Lasik Vision Institute:

• Responsible for hiring and maintaining office technician staff. • Organize travel for surgeon and optometrists. • Plan weekly work schedules. • Prepare payroll. • Generate and approve expense reports. • Oversee patient flow and follow up procedures. • On-call for after hour patient emergencies. • Establish and maintain open communication with surgeons, staff and patients. • Diligently follow up with phone and e-mail correspondence. • Order and distribute office supplies. • Prepare all UPS and FED-X in and outgoing packages. • Service and supply office equipment. • Set, reschedule and follow up on prospect consultations. • Educate individuals on which LASIK procedure would be most beneficial to meet their needs. • Provide information on ways to finance LASIK surgery. • Counsel patients on pre-op and post-op instructions.
