Daily Duties at American Express:

• Supported two managers and eight team leaders in daily call center operations • Assisted in project management using Six Sigma Quality Management System • Acted as an on-site Hr representative by aiding over 150 employees with all HR needs (payroll forms, vacation & sick time, FMLA, ect…) • Maintained over 200 confidential employee data files & five years of terminated employee data files • Created and updated a monthly newsletter of office performance to keep employees informed and motivated • Designed, created, and maintained a database of employee incentive travel certificates • Processed and input weekly payroll information to ensure all employees were paid properly • Verified all general ledger accounts for accuracy • Processed all office A/P to ensure quick payment to vendors • Handled all office procurement to include office supplies, temporary personnel, and equipment • Created reference guides for payroll and FMLA policies • Verified and maintained all employee FMLA documents to ensure accuracy of eligibility and usage • Assisted in implementation of new on-line HR programs by providing training to team leaders • Organized all administrative aspects of prospective client visits (catering, limo service, hotel reservation, office clean-up, PowerPoint presentations, ect…) • Developed employee tracking forms to calculate current headcounts and office OT by department • Received, sorted, and distributed daily all incoming mail • Awarded the Star Performer Award for job excellence
