Assumed responsibility for daily operation of Department and the Department Chair's office, provided administrative assistant support for Department Chair, attended Medical Center committees and meetings on behalf of Department and Chair; coordinated and planned all searches for additional faculty members; conducted all hiring, terminating, and supervision of all non-medical staff for Department; departmental research meetings; prepared manuscripts, grant proposals, abstracts, lecture handouts, and other materials via transcription and written materials; maintained files, calendar, and office of Chair; prepared slides utilizing PowerPoint; assisted Department faculty as needed.
