• Received Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act certification to ensure safety of patient records and confidentiality • Maintain patient information and records to provide easier access to classified information • Co-coordinate daily operation of front desk throughout the week • Assist patients with scheduling psychiatric appointments, lessening patient anxiety about doctor availability • Transcribe patient dictation’s for two doctors in a timely manner • Utilize customer service skills when relaying prescription information from Doctor to patient’s parent • Train and supervise 3 work study students on how to carry out daily office procedures • Help process billing for Medicaid/Medicare • Assist with quarterly audit of patient records • Responsible for mailing and patient correspondence between medical and support staff. • Organize patient records using Microsoft XP
