Daily Duties at Ibm Global Services/Lucent Technologies Account :
Responsible for providing technical support for approximately 4,000 networked and non-networked personal computers throughout a state-of-the-art research facility. Institute specific departmental procedures including, but not limited to, client relations management and quality assurance. Provide system analysis, installation and administration for Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server and Professional, Microsoft Windows NT Server, NT Workstation, Windows 95/98, Microsoft Office 95 through 2000, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft FrontPage, People soft, Lotus Notes, Lotus 1-2-3, Lotus SmartSuite, Netscape Communicator, Exceed, Adobe Acrobat, Software UNIX Emulator and UNIX-to-PC interfacing. Proficient knowledge of NT Domain administration and network TCPIP and DHCP infrastructure. Hardware analysis for hard disk drives, motherboards, network interface cards, CD-ROM drives, sound cards, video conferencing hardware, internal/external peripherals and DVD devices.
