Daily Duties at Conroe Independent School District:

As an intermediate school Principal secretary my duties were many. They included, but not limited to: Answering phones, routing calls, taking detailed and accurate messages, schedule parent-teacher conferences, maintained Principals calendar, typing all correspondence of school activities and schedules to faculty, staff, parents and students, yearly updates of student handbook, employee handbook, district policy and procedures, maintained campus activity fund account by making deposits, paying bills, reconciling monthly bank statement, typed checks, and monthly sales tax report. I was also campus liaison to all district departments such as child nutrition, transportation, custodial and maintenance. Completed and submitted vehicle request form for buses that were needed for all reasons other than dropping off and picking up of students for school day. Completed and submitted all work order requests for any maintenance or custodial concerns and followed through to ensure completion of work requested. I also assisted Principal and Assistant Principal with organizing and preparing for district required staff development and teacher work days. the data entry of all budget requisitions through-out the school year and the verifying and accepting of deliveries was a high priority in addition to maintain a well stocked supply room to accommodate the needs of teachers to help prevent any interruption of classroom instruction.
