Daily Duties at Miramar High School :

? Function as contract teacher for six classes of 32 students; three classes were Integrated Science, three were chemistry ? Create and provide lessons to cultivate the students’ critical thinking skills such as project-based activities that teach collaborative skills and develop quality minds of habit ? Mentor approximately 23 children and provided support to conquer challenging tasks ? Generate monthly written reports for submission to the principal and assistant principal ? Perform liaison duties between freshmen teachers and the administration ? Facilitate professional learning activities for teachers ? Act as liaison for the 37 teachers in the building ? Analyze problems and provide viable solutions; played an integral role in the implementation of new programs to better support teachers goals ? Coordinated programs such as school training sessions and tutoring program, as well as, the implementation of professional learning communities amongst teachers
