Daily Duties at Town Of Vail Police Department:

As a 911 dispatcher for all of Eagle County, I was responsible for efficiently and effectively answering 911 calls, dispatching police, fire and ambulance whenever necessary, monitoring fire and burglary alarms, and answering questions from the general public, other law enforcement personnel and agencies. Researching past histories on persons and locations to aid in officer safety was also a key responsibility. This was a high-stress position requiring a great deal of concentration and dedication.
