• Laboratory research on the clinical samples obtained during clinical phase II and Phase III trials • Mechanism of action studies of novel immunomodulators in autoimmune disorders like psoriasis • Peripheral blood mononuclear cell phenotyping in the peripheral blood of psoriasis patients • Apoptosis studies in peripheral blood leukocytes and skin biopsies using flow cytometry, western blot and immunostaining to determine the pathway of induction of cell apoptosis • Biomarker analyses in psoriatic plaques • Modulation of NF-kappaB activation in lesional tissue following immunotherapy • Clinical blood and skin biopsy specimen evaluation and reporting • Review of clinical studies protocols and proposed techniques • Data analysis and reporting, Research proposal and manuscript writing • Supervision of laboratory personnel including medical and graduate students
