Daily Duties at State Of Wa Criminal Justice Training Center:

Greeting and assisting all persons entering the front lobby, receiving and redirection incoming calls for 6 incoming telephone lines, receiving all forwarded incoming lines from academy phone system. Organizing and assigning dorm rooms for all incoming BLEA and Correction academies. Assigning and maintaining classroom schedules, updating and distributing academy class itineraries. Registrar for Advance training classes for law enforcement officers, (City and County, as well as WSP). Coordinate with program managers, instructors, agency training managers and officers to ensure proper training and prerequisite are meet. Prepare and distribute class instructions to students, focal point for students and training managers to answer questions and provide pertinent information. Maintain confidential database of Officers training records, Coordinate and facilitate N.O.R.A. Conference representing CJTC. Participate in the Command College Conference representing CJTC. Including booking of hotels and conference centers. Some of the training classes that I oversee under the direction of the program managers are as follows: SWAT, Sniper, FBI sponsored Crime investigation classes, Radar/Lidar, Defensive Tactic classes, Handgun, Rifle, and re-certification programs
