Daily Duties at State Of Washington Doc:

Responsible for all agency maintained inmate records, including current and incoming residents, duties included set up of offender files for screening, orientation and community placement. Maintain records and update movement, infractions, classifications, transfers, call outs and earned time. Respond to resident and family request for information by providing DOC policy and procedures. Work in contact with field assignment officers. Process inmate banking transactions, prepare monthly closing reports of offender accounts, Process inmate mail screening, process of court documentation for hearings, complete escape packets and incident reports. Update inmate health records. Provide clerical support for community corrections officers and supervisors. Additional duties are prepare release calendar, assignment of inmate rooms, process orders of release to verify all information is correct. Documentation of the quality of service provided by the department, community and residents. Perform background checks on visitors and sponsor using OBTS (Offender based tracking system).
