Daily Duties at First Transit:
Research & process reports of statistics and service as required by client and corporate office. Compile various logs, schedules, assignments and memos. Audit and process employee files, payroll, overtime and DOT figures. Establish and implement tracking programs, discipline procedures and bids in compliance with the union and company policy. Monitor, enforce and manage employee attendance, FMLA and vacation. Random drug & alcohol tests, union communications, distribute payroll checks. Schedule meetings, prepare Agenda’s, record minutes and actively participate. Initiate employee incentives, activities and commendations. Provide administrative support for over 250 employees and other departments. Back up for several positions including Maintenance Clerk and Payroll Technician. Assisted in improving employee retention rate from 70% to 92%. * Hourly employee with little to no compensation for continuously worked overtime.
