Daily Duties at Pleasant Homes Apartments:
• Assist accountants with month end journal entries, data entry, and preparation payment requisitions, and filing as required. • Maintain the general ledger system. • Prepare invoices for entry into MRI accounting system timely and accurately. • Interpret company policies and procedures related to reviewing, coding and processing invoices. • Prepare weekly check runs. • Act as point of contact for vendor inquiries and provide resolution to vendor questions. • Prepare and/or review appropriate ledger entries and reconciliation. • Process cash receipts including entry and posting to database, generating reports, copying checks, preparing cash receipts for daily bank deposits. • Process all invoices and utility bills for property. • Tracking and requesting vendor certificates of insurance and monitoring expirations. • Prepare move-in packages, and move-out inspections. • Prepare and maintain tenant lease files. • Establish rapport with future and current residents and all visitors. • Perform a variety of routine clerical and administrative task as assigned by Property Manager.
