Daily Duties at San Antonio Independent School District:

Substitute teacher/Counselors clerk - The following is a more detailed list of dates and locations in which I worked for San Antonio Independent School District. As a substitute I was moved around were needed, and place where there was openings. As a counselors clerk I assisted the counselor with preparation and completion of motivational activities guided towards all grade levels. I was in charge of keeping record of referrals, meetings, phone logs, data entry, and testing procedures. Title 1 Assistant - As a title 1 assistant I worked with 2nd and 3rd graders in small groups on a daily basis. Through testing, reading, and working on their class work, I was able to help them advance to the appropriate levels, allowing them to rejoin their classmates for daily activities, obtain confidence in their ability to complete their required assignments, and succeed in taking the TAKS. Teacher Assistant - As a Pre-K assistant I guided children in the classroom, helping them learn the necessary skills to pass on to the following grade level. My other job duties included, but were not limited to, monitoring children of all ages in the cafeteria during the mornings, afternoons, and lunch. As well as assisting the lead teacher in daily classroom activities.

Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
