Daily Duties at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino:
Supervision of 45 agents in the reservation department. Responsibilities included: Give work directions, resolve problems, prepare schedules, and set deadlines to ensure timely completion of work. Prepare reports and records on department activities for management using computer. Initiate discharges or transfer of employees. Payroll management, conducted pre-shift meetings, training of new agents, phone sales, reservation confirmation, handling of group contracts, rooming list and room blocks, correspondence with prospective guest via electronic mail, forecasting for 1170 room hotel, tracking of markets, deposits, balancing of room reservations revenue, management of multiple phone lines, ordering of supplies and general management office duties.
