Marketing Communications Program Manager (1994-1996) Developed and executed comprehensive marketing communications plans for assigned groups. Managing all program components including sales literature, advertising, direct mail, tradeshow participation, videos and product launch materials. Managed team of three. Acted as Marketing Communication liaison to field and channel marketing organizations. • Managed marketing communications activities with major ISV partners to co-market our products. Activities included road shows, direct mail and advertising. • Created and maintained budget tracking and analysis for Marketing Communications department. • Developed marketing video and live presentations. Contracted and supervised designers, producers, writes and directors. Marketing Communication Specialist (1992-1994) Developed comprehensive marketing communications plans and managed the execution of all program components including sales literature, advertising, direct mail, tradeshow participation, videos and product launch materials. • Managed divisional tradeshow from initial concept planning through implementation and evaluation against a $1 million annual budget. Generated 10,000 leads during a yearlong program. Managed programs for tradeshows such as NetWorld + Interop, UNIX Expo, UniForum, PC Expo and other high-tech industry shows. • Represented division at corporate and sales office tradeshows. Generated 8,000 leads during a yearlong program. • Managed partner pavilion at major industry tradeshows including planning, recruitment, implementation and evaluation. Reduced tradeshow expenses by 50%. Marketing Production Coordinator (1991-1992) • Managed development of marketing and sales materials including creation, scheduling and distribution. Contracted and supervised designers, printers and mail houses. • Managed the production of UNIXVision, a magazine for 30,000 UNIX customers, including scheduling, creative, printing and lead fulfillment management. Managed a $1 million annual budget. • Developed collateral ordering and distributions procedures and set up an external warehouse, resulting in more consistent collateral and a more timely ordering process.
