Manager, Tradeshows and Events (1999-2003) Responsibilities include events, tradeshows, product demos, speakership program and lead management system for an Intel division with $360 million in revenue. Managed team of four. • Managed yearly communications customer event both before and after the Intel acquisition of Dialogic. Refocused event for executive networking with key customers surpassing goals by increasing business decision makers by 50% over the last two years. • Managed approximately 70 shows ranging in size from tabletop displays to presence in corporate booth to 2500 square-foot booth generated over 5,000 leads during a yearlong program. • Managed lead management and lead cultivation system for our division. Managed lead cultivation system to continue to touch prospects until they turn into hot leads to be distributed to sales. Lead management system currently houses 3500 marketing leads with approximately 10% of all leads distributed to sales for follow-up. • Managed divisional speaking opportunities program. Divisional speakers increased by over 50% to 100 spokespeople per year at tradeshows and industry events. Manager, Corporate Communications (1997-1999) Responsibilities included strategic planning and execution of corporate event and tradeshows, advertising, and product demo and sales literature fulfillment. Managed team of five. • Managed corporate print and online advertising program. Responsible for all aspects of advertising from initial strategy and planning through implementation and evaluation against a $1.2 million annual budget. Worked successfully with advertising agency of record to create worldwide advertising standards. • Created and executed Dialogic partner event. Over the first four years, event attendance grew an average of 30% each year. Offset event costs by 50% through sponsorship funds and attendee fees. Responsible for all aspects of the event including registration, sponsorships, marketing, agenda planning and on-site logistics. • Managed and executed $2 million annual corporate tradeshow and events program. Generated over 10,000 leads during a year-long program consisting of approximately 50 shows including domestic and international tradeshows such as NetWorld + Interop, CT Expo, PC Expo, and Telecom Geneva. • Managed sales fulfillment ordering and distribution department resulting in more consistent collateral and more timely ordering process and saving headcount dollars by decreasing staff by 50%. Marketing Communications Program Manager (1996-1997) Developed and executed comprehensive marketing communications plans for assigned groups. Managing all program components including sales literature, advertising, direct mail, tradeshow participation, videos and product launch materials. • Acted as Marketing Communications liaison to product, sales and channel marketing departments. Developed and managed integrated marketing campaigns to meet the specific goals of each department. • Maintained marketing budget of $4M; tracking and analysis for multiple departments. • Worked on team to recreate partner and reseller program components including program definitions, communication and launch plans, and collateral material.
