Daily Duties at Advanced Detectors:
I designed and constructed all specialized equipment, set-up synthesis and purification laboratories and produced hyper pure mercuric iodide containing no detectable carbon compounds. (Another process usable in other high purity fields.) I developed and designed new crystal growth furnaces. I developed a process to dope the large single crystals that we grew from this mercuric iodide.
