Daily Duties at Santa Barbara Research Center:
I invented a new growth process to produce stable single crystals of 65%indium 35%gallium antimonide and any other materials with widely divergent solidous-liquidous curves. I patented a purification process that doubled the yield and raised the purity of InSb to near the absolute limit. (This process can be used in other fields, such as chemical or pharmaceutical, where higher purity and reduced cycle time is important.) I took over several “impossible” projects and quickly completed them.
