Daily Duties at Edwards & Angell:

Assisted senior partner in lending department with all administrative aspects of his practice, including calculation of attorney billable hours, preparation of client bills/correspondence, proofreading and formatting legal documents. • Traveled with attorney to closings and assist with basic drafting/preparation of closing documentation. • Provided some training in Excel and Word to staff and attorneys. • Provided end user support (Help Desk) for all attorneys, paralegals and administrative staff of large general practice law firm and its five satellite offices on firm-wide network, including software, technical/printers, Lotus Notes and Internet e-mail. • Prepared skill assessments/remedial training recommendations for end users; assist with training on software. • Created, formatted and designed in-house forms and reports • Reviewed new software programs and prepare end-user "how-to" manuals. • Attended training seminars presented by IS Department with respect to new technologies introduced at the firm. • Formatted legal documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission via EDGAR. • Prepared slide presentations for conferences/meetings.
