Daily Duties at Wright Graphics:
Pressman's Assistant / General Bindery Assistant / Warehouse Work with 8-color Diddie, including 10-color Sanden, and 12-color Heidelberg web presses, machineries which may be incorporated with UV (ultra violet) ink-set system, and heat-set system. Roll tender hanging rolls, process supply inventory of 800-lbs paper rolls used for the various web presses. Jogger, taking the paper off the press and pulling QC (quality control) sheets. Monitor chiller tanks for proper conductivity levels and other vital fluid assemblies for proper operation of the machines. Maintain proper ink handling for consistency of color and readiness of use, or application. Forklift operator OSHA certified. Operate an electric and manual pallet jack. Operate an 8-station Philipsburg mailer and inserter. Make ready the supplies and materials to be used for mailing purposes. Take down initial readings of counters to provide accurate accounting of the job. Assist in the maintenance and repair of factory equipment. Bindery Functions operating a Polar Hydraulic high volume trimmer / cutter. Operate a shrink wrap machine. Perform pick-ups and deliveries using the company van, and with my own vehicle.
