I was able to interact with customers of all kinds! Being fast and friendly was a key element in this work environment. My duties included packing (fragile and insured items) standard items. Bubble wrapping, packing, peanut stuffing, and taping were included in the job. I also had to input information into the computer, as well as insuring items and weighing them. Fed-Ex and UPS were the main programs used, DHL was used for larger packages. I have also sold stamps, metered mail (for regular mail and book rate), and sorted through mail putting letters into the appropriate post office box. Answering phones and cashiering were also included in this job.
