Daily Duties at Parkview Nursing:

• Successfully handled maintenance and repairs for 156 residents nursing care facility while adhering to the strict quality guidelines of the State of Delaware • Acquired experience in general construction including basic to intermediate electrical repairs (hospital bed repair, repair and replace light fixtures, celling fans and air-conditioners), carpentry (repair and install doors, hinges, lock-sets, dry walling, decking and windows), welding (spot), plumbing (repair and install bathroom plumbing fixtures, sinks, faucets, drain lines, basins, water closets, tubs and showers. Trouble shoot shut-off values and clogged pipes), patching/sheet rock and HVAC maintenance (residential and industrial). General working knowledge of blue print interpretation and mechanical rendering • Trained new employees and monitored their performance during probation • Monitored the performance of any external contractors on premises and reported finding to Building Maintenance Manager • Was solely responsible to handle the weekend emergency maintenance of residents and staff • One of two members of the Parkview "Fire & Safety Team" responsible for safety for building, residents and staff
