Daily Duties at University Of Nebraska Lincoln:
•Manage the coordination, organization, supervision, facilitation and implementation of Nebraska Center for Entrepreneurship (NCE) program events throughout the year, including business plan competitions, professional Business Conferences, scholarship programs, children’s summer camps, and annual benefit dinners. •Responsible for the supervision of (4) student workers during the academic year, as they assist in event coordination. Responsible for the recruitment and managing of student hires, schedules, Human Resource documentation, and daily assignments. Initiated an orientation training presentation and manual for student employees. •Responsible for communication and correspondence with local, regional and national business contacts, and national educational institutions for the purpose of coordinating NCE events. Assist in solicitation and management of private donations for conferences, and generate related reports and forms. •Manage all financial operations through SAP accounting system, including GL posting, general ledger account reconciliation, and processing departmental operating expenditures. •Design advertising/publications for conferences and events, manage website and database systems.
