Daily Duties at Ohio Casualty :

• Provides claim service to include investigating, evaluating, and settling complex claims. Secures required supporting documentation and provides required reports. ? Investigates claims, including: obtaining statements, police reports, medical documentation, scene investigation, and cause of loss ? Evaluates claim as to coverage, liability, and damage ? Negotiates claim settlements and issues claim payments within authority for bodily injury claims, MedPay claims, PIP claims, and Workers Comp claims (most recently handling Work Comp) ? Handles complex liability, including litigated files, and coverage issues as assigned ? Identifies fraudulent claims and refers to SIU for further investigation ? Supports Claim Catastrophe Program as needed
